CHN Recognizes Caren Vastine as June 2024 Service Excellence Superstar

Curry Health Network is thrilled to announce that Caren Vastine, RN, who works in Acute Care, has been named the Service Excellence Superstar of the Month! Caren was nominated by Amber Sutter, Clinic Nurse Manager, and selected by a committee of her peers, including former Superstars, based on specific criteria that highlight exceptional performance and dedication.

Caren's recognition is well-deserved. Here is what Amber Sutter wrote in her nomination:

"Caren was on call for Acute Care when infusion needed to send their nurse home due to illness. Caren came in and received a quick orientation on our process and documentation and took right over. It was a very busy day and Caren had such a positive attitude. It was great teamwork and all the patients received excellent care. Caren demonstrated excellence through her actions to help out with a moment’s notice."
